Accessibility Statement

Hakanuge, operated by Dibibu LLC, wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our target

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This is a goal, not a claim. We have not had an independent audit, and we do not state that every page meets the standard today.

What we do

  • Choose text and background colors that meet the WCAG contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text.
  • Keep keyboard focus visible on links, buttons, and form fields.
  • Use headings, lists, and landmarks so screen reader users can move around a page.
  • Write descriptive link text and button labels.
  • Add alternative text to images we control.
  • Avoid auto-playing audio and video, and avoid content that flashes.
  • Build on a responsive theme so pages work on phones, tablets, and desktops, and when text is enlarged.

Known limitations

  • Brand content. Product photos, descriptions, size charts, and downloadable files come from the brands that make the products. Some may lack alternative text, may use images of text, or may have low contrast. We correct what we can and report the rest to the brand.
  • Third-party services. Checkout, payment forms, and some apps are provided by Shopify and other vendors. Their accessibility is managed by those providers.
  • Older content. Some guides and pages may need edits to meet our own standards. We review them as we update them.

If you find something on this site that is hard or impossible to use, please tell us. Email support@hakanuge.com and include:

  • The page address or a description of the page.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • The device, browser, and assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing it.

We will read every report and reply by email. If you cannot use the website to place an order, tell us and we will help you complete it by email.
