Grippa Climbing Chalk, 70g Loose Powder & Chunks

The bag that lives in your pack.

2.5 oz (70 g) of the same chalk that goes into our 200 g bags — mostly fine powder, with soft chunks mixed through. Enough for a few weeks of regular sessions, small enough to throw in a backpack or a gym locker and forget about.

If you've never used our chalk, this is the cheapest way to find out whether you like it.

One ingredient

• 100% pure magnesium carbonate. No fillers, no additives, nothing blended in.
• Mostly fine powder, with soft chunks that crumble between your fingertips — no pounding, no grinding.
• 2.5 oz (70 g), resealable pouch.

How to use it

Dip your hand in, take a small amount, and crush any clumps between your fingers while your hand is still in the bag. Work it into your palms and the backs of your fingers. Less is usually more — a thin, even layer beats a thick one.

The chunks break down into powder as the bag gets used. That's normal, not a defect.

Why the small bag

Two reasons people pick this one. Either they want to try our chalk before committing to a 200 g bag, or they already know they like it and want a second one for the car, the locker, or a trip where a full bag is overkill.

It's also the size that travels easily. TSA has no quantity limit on chalk in carry-on, and at 2.5 oz you're well under the 12 oz mark where powders can get pulled for extra screening.
